The crew listed for this AC is not correct, it is the crew that was flying the AC when it was shot down. Clem was testing for lead navigator and in order to do that it was done on his normal AC but with a different crew. His regular crew was the Ihlenburg crew. The AC was named the Jeanne Ricky (aka Gin Rickey) after Jeanne (Fred Ihlenburg’s wife), my grandmother, and Ricky (Rick), my uncle.
