The navigator on this aircraft was my Mother’s 1st cousin, Mark O. Glasgow. He was her Father’s sister’s son. I never knew he was a POW until I found a report from the Red Cross about him on the Internet. In fact, He married a Swiss girl, Margrit. (can’t remember her last name) As a young child, I saw the family several times. The RC report says he was from California. He was from Texas. I wondered why he was interred for such a short time. Also, I wondered if the rank (Capt.) was correct. (I don’t know why he would outrank the pilot). It is interesting to find out facts about family that I was not aware of.
