Hello
I am researching for a book about my father’s WW2 experience. He was a B-24 pilot in the 456th bomb group. His plane was shot down on June 26, 1944, and he was then held in Stalag Luft III. I have a listing that shows all POWs in the west compound, and it includes the barracks and room number for each man. I am trying to get information about David W. Hughes, who was a bombardier in the 388th bomb group, and was also one of my father’s roommates at this camp. I would very much like to speak with any of his possible descendants.
Thank you!
