I am Robert W. Joyner’s daughter, who was the tail gunner on the B-17 42-97138. He was interned in Switzerland. Interested in contacting any of his crew members or family. My dad passed away 9/22/2002 from lung cancer. He was an awesome dad and will always be my hero.

Hi Patricia, I am Roy McCallum’s daughter-in-law. I am sorry to hear about your dad. How can we connect?

Hi there! I’m sorry for the late reply. So Roy was the pilot, correct? I was researching his missions, lots of info on Big Week Feb 20-25, 1944. Everything matches his entries in his log book. They had successful missions over Berlin. Has Roy ever discussed internment in Switzerland? Let’s connect, message me at my gmail address listed above.
