Sirs:
My father, Cecil Craig Harris, 1925-2006, was the co-pilot on the B-17 Hitler’s Milkman, Tail #297190, 8th Air Force, 257th Bomb Group, 748th Bomb Squadron. He flew 33 bombing missions over Germany in early 1945. https://b17flyingfortress.de/en/b17/42-97190-hitlers-milkman/
To honor my father before I die, I am researching when/where/cost of flying in a B-17. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
My personal email address is donharris0813@gmail.com
Thank you,

Lt. Walter C Strosser was my grandfather.
He was the pilot on this mission, he never told us this story, but I know through research on the 457th Bomb group website, this was mission 122. He was later shot down on Mission 133 after bombing a synthetic petro plant over Politz, He was one of six crew that made it out and the other 6 perished in the crash. He was captured and spent time as a POW in Germany.
