My father-in-law, Fred Seals was a pilot in the 849 BS, 490BG in WWII. How can I find out more information about the plane(s) he flew & the missions he completed?
He is celebrating his 100th birthday in April.
He did fly a B17 named The Jet Threat. I’m not sure if that’s the one that crash landed (no injuries) in France, or if that is the name of one of them he flew. I sure would love to find information about him.
He flew in WWII, Berlin Airlift, Korean War & Vietnam.
