Delivered Hunter 7/4/45; Slated 447BG, transferred Patterson and modified to CB-17G in Phillipines; used by Gen Jimmy Doolittle at Kadena, Okinawa 27/7/45 as BOOPS; also carried Gen Dwight D.Eisenhower; purchased from USAF in Aug 1959, became Civil N9563Z with AAC 9/5/60 Ryan Fd; new cargo doors fitted at Brownsville; now a Warbird, took part in films `War Lover‘ and `Tora, Tora, Tora‘; re-painted in 447BG, Rattlesden, Sfk., UK., at National Warplane Museum, Farmingdale, NY., was based at John Wayne Apt, CA, now at Lyon Air Museum, Santa Anna, CA; airworthy as FUDDY DUDDY (displayed as 42-97400).
