This was an unfortunate loss that happened near where I grew up. I saw this plane in flight a few days before the loss, it was on tour as part of the Collings Foundation which is dedicated to “living history”. A local news station (WWLP in Springfield, Mass.) posted a list of the names of the crew and passengers here: https://www.wwlp.com/news/connecticut/names-of-passengers-and-crew-of-b-17-released-investigation-into-crash-continues/

Pilot Ernest McCauley, deceased. He had flown this aircraft for more than 20 years.
Three of the people on-board the plane were from western Massachusetts. Two of them; David Broderick, 56, of West Springfield, and James Roberts, 48, of Ludlow, were killed. The third local passenger, Andy Barrett, 36, of South Hadley, survived.
