RE: B-17 # 44-8377 Officially this plane crashed at sea 100 miles W of Iceland 10-22-44 but I ran across this note „This aircraft was discovered and partially (lots of parts) removed from melting glacier, 99% sure this is 44-8377, Cloister Bay“. My brother was the bombardier on this plane and I was wondering if you have any info on the parts found on the glacier and where these parts might be today. I would appreciate any info you might have or any idea of where I might check for more info. Thank You,
