My dad had pictures of himself in Italy in front of this plane. I remember the name of the plane so I looked it up. The war in Germany had ended and my dad was stationed there and he told me one of his duties was to pickel the planes. He said they’d take the guns off and put them in oil drums. Was hoping to find more pictures and info.
