Mäßige bis intensive, präzise Flak wurde am Ziel angetroffen. Es gab keine feindliche Flugzeugabwehr. Ausmaß des Schadens unbekannt. Flak soll in der Nähe des Flugzeugs eingeschlagen sein. Das Flugzeug warf seine Bomben ab und stürzte mit rauchendem Motor Nummer drei ab.

HI: My father is Joseph Frechette and is still hanging in there. He was 98 this past March 19th. I wanted to thank you for posting this information. My father wrote an account of the loss of ‘Miss Cue’ back in 2004. Would you like to see it? 1/2 page typed. I can confirm Ward Price was killed when his chute failed to open. Granville Billingsley was the first person out of the aircraft and escaped capture for 8 days.

Hi Thomas, is your father still with us? I just read that Miss Cue’s Tail Gunner, Clarence “Bud” Sheperd, is still alive and looking for any surviving crew members.
