Um ca. 10:10 Uhr, 24000 Fuß, kurz nach dem Verlassen des Ziels wurde Flugzeug 750 aus dieser Gruppe mit einem brennenden Triebwerk gesehen. Das Flugzeug verließ die Formation und warf ihre Bomben ab. Zuletzt wurde das Flugzeug bei einem Sturzflug nach unten gesehen. Ein Fallschirm wurde gesehen.

My Daddy, 1st Lt Leland C Borgstrom, B-17 Pilot of Ramblin’ Rebel flew 29 missions over Europe. He lived to be 86 & passed in 2002.

My dad was Albert Willoughby and also pilot of Ramblin’ Rebel. We’re they on sale crew? Dad flew 35 missions over Germany.

my grandfather was eager fetty I did not get to meet him cuz I was too young when he passed away but my grandmother his wife Bessie lived for a very long time I miss and I love her grandson of Edgar Petty
