This was my dads outfit..He was radio op on Rapsody In Red..His name was Harry Mitchell flew every mission and came home..

Roscoe V. Black, Jr (copilot) was my uncle. I wrote an account of his last mission in 2013, compiled from first-hand accounts by Wm Spofford and David Snow along with 91st BG records.

This was my Dad’s plane … David F Snow. He spent the rest of the war in the infamous Stalag Luft 3 of “The Great Escape” legacy.
