Martin, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Norman Burton, Radio Operator: Dave Bittner, Ball turret gunner: Norman Hess, Waist gunner: Chas Hickman, Waist gunner: John Choprias (9 Returned to Duty);Tail gunner: John Tinker (Killed in Action); flak burst took of part of tail plane, aircraft limped home to land at Rattlesden US base, Sfk, but with controls damaged ran on into a meadow, with no injuries; however it clipped a crash truck fatally injury a member; Salvaged. FORBIDDEN FRUIT.
