My Father was Douglas Harold Nash crew member Humpty Dumpty. He Died on June 3rd 1963 when an avalanche crushed the truck he was driving. Imagine that, 67 missions and fate took him that way. I was 4 years old. Mom said he didn’t talk about the war. Every thing I know I investigated. Mom said what ever you do, don’t ever throw away the flight boots , so fortunate to have for all the P.O.W. Camp to camp marches.
