Eslund, Bombardier: P. Shanes, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: E. Atwood, Radio Operator: R. Martin, Ball turret gunner: Tom Dye, Waist gunner: W. Hunter, Waist gunner: J. McGee,Tail gunner: A. Chacon (9 Returned to Duty); Navigator: Fred Wattles (Killed in Action); flak, ditched North Sea, and sunk in seconds. Crew picked up by RAF Walruses L2307 & L2238, which had to taxi back to Yarmouth as sea too rough to take off. SNOW BALL.
