I recently retired from a career in aircraft manufacturing working on the B-2, E-8, 747, F-22, and F-35. I’ve had a lifelong interest in aircraft. A few years ago, I was in an antique store in Granbury, TX and discovered a book titled ‚Aircraft Metalwork‘. The book had a name and date hand-written inside the cover. I decided to try and locate the book’s owner or maybe one of his children. The name inscribed in the book is ‚Arza Webb Jr. 1942‘. I was sad to learn he was killed in action on July 26, 1944 as the B-17 Tail Gunner on #42-32107. Since I worked at the „Bomber Plant“ (AF Plant 4) at the time, I wondered if Arza had plans of working there, producing B-24s during the war. He didn’t have any children or siblings, so his immediate family ended there. I would still like to locate any living descendants to pass this treasure along. Godspeed Azra.
