Co-Pilot Charles Lloyd Smith Jr. was my Dad. He was hidden in several resistance people’s homes. Last one was that of my Great Grandmother — Dad met my Mother there. They were all arrested by the Gestapo, but survived the war. My folks were married in 1946 in Brussels.
