Mid-air-collision with C-47 #43-48506 on March 31 1945. Pilot Capt. Walter P. Hottenstein. Killed all four crew members of #42-37850. Includes Pfc. Emma Jane Burrows Windham, the only female flight engineer lost in WWII while serving in a flight engineer position.
