My uncle Solomon Schuster is listed here. I just received the declassified documents. Is it possible someone/decedents would know any stories about what happened to my uncle?

Hey Sara,
I live near the place where your uncle crashed. Many years ago, I spoke with eyewitnesses to the crash.
The B-17 was coming from the south and was probably shot down very close to where I live. A few miles away, the badly damaged bomber flew very low over the village of Leutesdorf. The local priest saw the plane coming, and at that moment, it looked to him as if it were going to crash into the church. He later said he had „prayed the plane over the church and onto the mountain behind it.“ In fact, your uncle and his entire crew crashed onto that mountain. One crew member had drawn a map on a handkerchief. This handkerchief, framed, hung on the wall in the hallway of the house of the couple I spoke with. The couple were already very old when I spoke to them, and I don’t believe they are still alive today. Therefore, I don’t think I can learn anything more about your uncle’s fate now. I wanted to share this story with you because it will help you learn more about the fate of your relative.
