My Uncle is Roger Charbonneau. I just visited with him recently about this flight and he remembers it well! Fascinating to listen to the stories, and there are not many left to tell them.

My Father was Leon D Cline who passed away in 1984. I would love to hear any stories you may have concerning this crew and their missions. My Father shared very little with me before his passing. Thanks in advance!

I forgot to ask, is your uncle still alive? If so, would it be possible to contact him? Thanks, Gary Cline

My father was a bombardier with Forever Amber, His name was (at retirement) Maj. Alfred E. Isaac. He flew 25 missions and was part of the Lucky Bastard Club in the 388th Forever Amber. Not sure why he isn’t listed.
