Hi Terry, I’m President of the 384th Bomb Group Heritage Association, my dad flew in the 384th Bomb Group about the same time as Elmer Schumacher. Unfortunately, there aren’t but a handful of 384th BG veterans still with us as of April 25, 2026. You’re welcome to join our Facebook page „384th Bomb Group Heritage Association“ to communicate with other relatives of 384th Bomb Group servicemen, of which there are about 500 following the page. I think you’ll like it our people, and you’ll learn more about the Group in a safe place.
