Im researching this aircraft Ruthie Bee. My boss’s father was one of the last pilots to fly her in 1944 My boss has his fathers satchle. Inside I believe I have found the crew manifest of who flew Ruthee Bee back to the “States With him.Pilots last name was Heinritz. This satchle is just stuff with stuff only a Bomber Pilot would have. Looking for pictures of Ruthee Bee. His son, my boss said his father didnt talk much about this time in his life.

Hello. If anyone is able and willing, I’d sure love to have some information on this B17 and its last crew. I’m a general practice physician in Appleton, Wisconsin. I was a friend of the pilot, Fred Heinritz and his wife Gretchen. Many thanks in advance.
