Has anyone noticed that DF-A was the aircraft code of the famous Memphis Belle? How many other B-17 aircraft carried it?

After 41-24485 „Memphis Belle“ a further 7 B-17s are known to have been assigned the DF-A (Dimple A-Apple / A-Able) Radio Call Letters within the 324th Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group at Bassingbourn.
DF-A B-17F 42-29837 „Lady Luck“ Assigned 7th June 43, transferred to AFSC 6th April 1944 as older B-17Fs that lacked long range „Tokyo Tanks“ were being withdrawn. Ret USA
DF-A B-17G 42-97199. Assigned 7th April 1944. but not immediately flown by 324th Bomb Squadron (possibly awaiting combat modifications / damaged on training flight / taxi accident?). Aircraft was reassigned to the 401st Bomb Squadron due to the 324th becoming a dedicated pathfinder unit throughout May – June 1944 and lost on its first mission on 28th April 1944. It is not known if the aircraft had been remarked with 401st BS Radio Call letters at the time of its loss.
DF-A B-17G 42-97600 H2X Radar equipped Pathfinder Aircraft. Assigned 27th April 1944. Transferred to 351st Bomb Group, Polebrook 14th June 1944 to continue pathfinder operations for the 94th Combat Wing.
DF-A B-17G 43-37613 Assigned 15th June 1944. Standard replacement aircraft assigned to the 324th Bomb Squadron to assist with their return to normal combat operations following their period as a dedicated pathfinder unit. Crash Landed Halesworth 16th August 1944. Declared Salvage 17th August 1944
DF-A B-17G 44-8135 H2X Radar equipped Pathfinder aircraft. Assigned 27th August 1944. Crash Landed Rackheath 6th November 1944, Declared Salvaged 9th November 1944
DF-A B-17G 44-8224 H2X Radar equipped Pathfinder aircraft. Assigned 14th November 1944. Additionally equipped with the GH Radar Navigation aide. Lent to 398th BG for mission to Neuss, Germany 23rd January 1945. Missing in Action with Colonel Hunter (398th Group Commander) and 398th BG Crew. (This was a 398th BG Crew flying a 91st BG aircraft on loan as the 398th BG hadn’t yet gained GH capability, and is another instance of where solely relying on the Osbourne / Freeman Fortlog entries for information falls down, as the MACR form doesn’t differentiate when a crew from one Squadron or group is flying an aircraft on loan from another squadron or group for a single mission / detached service).
DF-A B-17G 44-8651 „Lorraine“. H2X Radar equipped Pathfinder Aircraft. Assigned 2nd February 1945. Transferred to 306th Bomb Group 24th May 1945 for post war Casey Jones aerial mapping project. Salvaged 9th AF Germany 10th July 1946.
