I believe the nickname of this B-17 is wrong. I was doing some looking through my great grandpas scrap book and I decided to look up the info here. His B-17 was called “Baby Shoes” but the tail numbers don’t match. The scrap book says that the tail number was 48724 and the one for this says that it was 48500. Just wanted to see if I was wrong and I it might possibly be fixed. Thank you for your time.
