I’d be very interested in speaking with you about this incredible opportunity to memorialize the brave crew of Just Elmers tune. Feel free to e-mail me at roger.carnie@gmail.com and or by phone at 1- 516-445-7372
In the interim, I will reach out to my cousin Kathy Carnie Heyman to inform her that this is being done. Kathy is the only remaining daughter of my Uncle Norm. He has a surviving son, but I am not sure what level of health he is in.
If appropriate, and after speaking with you, I may contact the Long Island, New York air museum in Farmingdale, NY. My Uncle Norman’s name is on a list of Long Island WWII airmen displayed in the museum. I am sure they would be interested in hearing more if it is deemed appropriate.

Roger Carnie – Son of Roger Philip Carnie of Freeport, NY (Norman’s younger brother) who served in the U.S. Navy as a SeeBee in both WWII and the Korean War.
