My dad (Frank Atteberry) was the radio man on Blues In The Reich. He was one of “Brownie’s Boys”. Al Brown was the pilot.
That crew was also on the bomber I’ll Be Around.
My father’s headstone has the plane and “I’ll Be Around” etched on it.

My wife’s Grandfather, Henry (Hank) P. Korol, was on Blues in the Reich. I am not sure assignment, but he was in the bottom bubble.
Also part of the aid drop to (?) Switzerland.

Hello Justin,
bottom bubble means Ball Turret, I think.

My father, Henry P. Korol, we the top turret gunner, not a ball turret gunner. The food drops were over Holland not Switzerland.
