My father was the radio operator on this bomber for 25 missions. I have many old yellow sheets of orders written by generals commending the 385th on leading the entire 8th into Germany. I also have a scrapbook of his tours of death and survival including pictures. I cannot imagine what he went through. I am only gratefull that his blood is in my veins.

Hi, I recently came into possession of an Over Seas hat With 30 Bombing missions 94th BH 333 stamped on it. Also stamped was a soldier’s Laundry number N-2484. I have been trying to find the identity of this soldier. I noticed your comment that your father was on this B17 during WW2. If at all possible, if you have a roster, names etc. of any crew member that has the last name beginning with „N“ and the last 4 digits of his serial # ..2484 , of just a crew member that has the last name beginning with „N“ it would be greatly appreciated if you could forward that to me.

Howdy, my Granddaddy was the tail gunner on this plane for 26 missions I believe. If anyone has crew photos or stories please our family would love to see and hear them! We have some photos and stories as well! Although we have misplaced photos of Before/After of bombings this plane conducted. Please email me at

I believe my father was navigator on this plane. Wondering how I could search his name with this info.
